Top 21 Tools Of 2024(so far)
These are 20 of my favorite tools that I have picked up so far this year. They are very functional tools from many different brands. Klein tools has a ton of great tools on this list including their insulated pliers, 7-1 impacted rated nut driver, and their pass through socket set. Veto Pro Pac also has a lot of great options on this list with the DP3, MP1X, and the Tech XL Wheeler. A lot of these are electricians tools but can be used for almost anything.

These are 8 of my favorite electricians tools from Jonard. These are great for everything from pulling wire, to cutting or stripping it. One of my favorites is the adjustable hole saw. Another of my favorites is the FTF 1125 fiberglass fish tape. It has on board storage with any style of head you could need and it disconnects from the reel so you can have all 100' out. Why Contractors Fail To Start Out On Their Own
Thinking of switching careers
Wish people would stop using that saying. No one follows it. You don't even follow it, got thirty different pairs of Diagonal Cutters and Wire Strippers. Buying tools isnt that simple its a trial and error process for whats best for someone personally. Don't buy things on Temu, but the best quality tools within your budget that you can afford. Figure out what you need to upgrade or change through working.
Those greenlee pliers are Doyle’s from harbor freight
How do I apply to a company if I have 0 experience? I live in California and was about to look into a trade school. Any advise would be highly appreciated!
So do you think you should go to school or just join a company or like a union
uhh you said you weren't satisfied with brushless but said to also get the brushless??
I mixed up the wording in the video. I gave up my brushed m12 impact and drill. The brushless fuel stuff is the way to go
Watching your videos make me want to go in debt lol
My bad
Excellent video! Love the Fiberglass Fish Tape!
I’ve never seen the use for wire strippers to be honest is it something to do with fragile cable? I use a basic pair of timco cable cutters and they work fine for me
they have the forged wire strippers from knipex in vde handles on Amazon now
These videos have become repetitive and lackluster. I get it may be a tool showcasing channel, but it just seems like its all a shill. Great that you may be making money, but offer something to the viewer outside of these showcasing videos. Perhaps something beneficial like tutorials, or advice, tips and tricks... etc. You're doing nothing for the community other than farming clicks. All your thumbnails are the same and you recreate the same video every 3 weeks with new ref links. Boring, sorry.
That’s fine but informative videos don’t do well. I spent a ton of time and money on a video testing sets of tools but it’ll never matter because no one sees it because no one clicked on it. The point of it is to add value but it doesn’t matter how much value there is if no one ever sees it. You have all my tool list videos pop up because that’s what does well and gets exposure.
You should try the Weidmüller Stripax they are the BEST wire strippers
Im of the same opinion as you when it comes to water pump pliers but a fried, who is a plumber, gave me a good argumet for the older style. (how to explain it... Not the ))))) style but rather the OOOOO) Hes thoughts was that it were to small incroments on the push style making it harder to fine the right setting rather than if you work on one size bigger pipe it was one step up on the plier. He also agreed that for anything else than pipes the push version was way better. thanks for an interesting vieo!
god all this is such consumerist bullshit.
People bitching about his tools looking “new” are dumb. You can clearly see wear on them. Just because they’re not covered in gunk doesn’t mean they don’t get used. I got them to buy me wipes at work for cleaning my tools. By the end of the day my stuff is dirty as hell but less than 10 minutes giving everything a once over with my cleaning wipes and they look almost brand new. My tools make me my money so it only makes sense to keep them nice and good working order.
The pliers set is new. I got them so I could do a full used review on them but I get this a ton with my tools that are years old too. It’s exactly what you’re saying in this. I work in all types of environments doing service work which would be a foundry or it could be an incredibly clean office building. I can’t track all that nasty stuff into the offices or any place it doesn’t belong. People are always so confused by it and I don’t understand
you forgot an angle grinder, but other than that i think its a good video
For a set of tools you carry every day they are all suspiciously clean and unused🧐
True. I just got them to try them out
Nah, my tools are tiered. I have one pouch that can handle/diagnose 90% of things ill encounter, screwdrivers, meter, other basic hand tools, impact socket set.. then I have an open mouth tote that has 8% more of the weird things covered and the rest of my tools are in cases which cover the remaining 1%.. yes thats still 1% left unaccounted for which is when you goto the hardware store. There will *always* be that 1%.
2 under rated Klein tools- compact cable cutters & BX shears. The shears are not only good for trimming MC jacket, but also for trimming madison bars that are too long to fold into the old work box. Both tools are small and fit right in the hand.
Bro makes the same video rinse and repeat
I’d love to see the first version of this video
Is there a way to fast track this apprenticeship?
quit yapping and get to the point
Where can i buy the tape measure? I can’t find it for sale at any store or even online.
At the panel part Your supposed to first go over the breakers slowly for the tracer to “learn” the panel, then it should tell the correct breaker on the second pass
how come no Forcelogic knockout punch?
Is that a brain chip that's attached to your head?
Yes, exactly
@@americanelectrician Impressive. Yet I thought it was perhaps a wifi mic.
I never lend my tools to people who think they can go by with a lineman and a 10/1..
Is there room, with the majority of tools needed for hvac, to have a drill and impact driver to store inside to carry? Also what is the approximate weight with tools inside?
I watch your videos because I love tools, but I personally don't do electrical. the metric klein 7-1 shaft and the 1/4' pass through set have had my eye for a while, would be very useful on my chopper lol
Also, its pronounced Kuh-nip-ex
I have the 12V brushless Milwaukee tools. I wanted the 12V because I wanted a charging station on my truck without an inverter. I was never disappointed in my demolition business. Some of my helpers laughed until their corded versions required 50lbs of cord, and their rechargeables died on the job.
Bro you got me F’d up with that perfect loop 😄
The tech lc is legit
coming from a plumber who can actually use the big cobras i perfer them hand over fist vs channel locks
By far the most superior stackable system, more so when you take in to account their future roadmap. I just hope Lowe's quits screwing around with them or releases them from exclusivity... I've never come across someone who's seen my stack that didn't say "That's awesome".... FWIW, I'm a low voltage guy.... drawers are the only way.
My veto backpack weighs 285 pounds, but I wouldn’t dare remove anything because what if I need it
As soon as you take it out it’s the day you’ll need it
want to try the DP3! do you wear it on your belt? If so is it too heavy? I don't think it will be but never had a drill in my pouch before.
I have the Klein pass through set and I'm not impressed. It's fine to use as a ratchet set or on you ratcheting Klein screwdriver, but it really sucks on an impact. The pieces do NOT stay together well. I might take it off of a 7/16 nut after tightening and the socket will come off of the extension, for instance. I recommend the one-piece Klein hollow magnetic impact drivers.
Ratching wrenches work just fine, 50 years, 40 as a master and union!
Also unless u work for yourself, buying all these tools is helping ur employer. What benefits do you get?
What size
So this is why my bag is 40 pounds 😂😂
Yes exactly 😂😂😂
Better to have it and not need it than to need it and not have it.
I couldn’t agree more
Klein by far has the best tape measures
That’s a stretch. They make a great tape but I don’t think it’s way better by any means
@@americanelectrician every guy at my company has tried Milwaukee and they all prefer their Klien . Watch project farms RUclips video on the comparison it’s always a top performer. Milwaukee is good as well but doesn’t beat klien in any way except for aesthetics
I actually haven’t seen that one. I’ll check it out!
